*That* is the problem.
*Every* "service" needs to have *explicit*, *opt-in*, *consent*.
I do *not* consent to bots interacting with my posts, or to new services that I didn't ask for.

@alice@lgbtqia.space the long time established practice on the fediverse would be a #nobot in your profile, that's what people used since ages and what is expected to be honored by all bots including those that just crawl/don't trigger notifications. My instance for example explicitly mentiones that when you run a bot you need to give people the ability to opt-out.
