Hey, can someone point me towards some level, reasonable reporting on the Texas ICE protest sentencing?
It seems Bad, and I want to find an analysis that is accurate but not alarmist. Can you help?

Okay, so it's bad. I was concerned that the reporting I was reading was too sensationalist. I now believe that even some of the sensationalist seeming pieces I read were perhaps not extreme enough. A dude was actually sentenced to 30 years in prison for moving a box of magazines. These people were convicted for "material support of terrorism" for the crime of exercising freedom of the press. Most of the people convicted protested at an ICE prison, some of them also brought many guns, one of the people with a gun shot at a member of the president's secret police. I'm not here to argue the merits of their actions or decisions, but to talk about the charges.
