Friends, if you are in a heat wave, one of the best survival tips I know that I rarely see people talk about is getting a pet cooling mat, the kind filled with gel. - pressure activated - sucks heat out of your body - last 3-4 hours - reset in 15-20 minutes. You can cool them in the fridge but you don't have to. They don't need electricity. They work when the power goes out. Great for heat emergencies & everyday hot weather use. #HeatWave #EmergencyPrep
