@flwwhtrbt@mastodon.social So... does that mean you might have some recommendations? :) I need to find some new stuff to watch and I'm drawing a blank. Haven't watched any anime in ages. I'd love to get any suggestions from people.

I've probably recommended this one to you before (I seem to recommend it a 𝘭𝘰𝘵) It is a bit later, from 2009, but up there my my top 3 anime films of all time. Drop what you're doing and watch it if not! Or what about Psycho-Pass? If you like the darker cyberpunk-esque vibes, then Psycho-Pass season one is absolute magic! Ergo Proxy if you like a dark future, Serial Experiments Lain if you want to see where The Matrix came from
