@MisterHW@fosstodon.org I'm really frustrated that the ecosystem encouraged ANYONE to provide fake content in any way, and I know its been happening long before AI was around, and now its all siting each other and junk. I think china has been pushing lots of fake stuff for a long time now, I think students are pushed to make papers, so they come up with garbage to get past the requirement. arg
