(if they were given a chance to... landfills aren't optimal for this, some landfill operators even vent the burnable gases that build up in landfills, burn it and sell the power)
i can't imagine it would take much shuffling to make most cases make sense, and this can definitely be pursued when we find ourselves in a situation to try and do so
currently i'd be happy if *any* business put a 222nm uv in their hvac somewhere,

@eris@yourwalls.today paper is slightly more recyclable though, so long as you don't mix grease in with the pulp, so i generally ask for paper if it's an option over plastic i'm pretty sure it's a downcycle every time they do this though but at least, if it burns at the end, it's not a carcinogen
