@eris@yourwalls.today paper is slightly more recyclable though, so long as you don't mix grease in with the pulp, so i generally ask for paper if it's an option over plastic
i'm pretty sure it's a downcycle every time they do this though
but at least, if it burns at the end, it's not a carcinogen

@estelle@mstdn.social if I look in my recycling bin it's like 99% shit I needed but I had no control over the packaging haha. If it was up to me I'd bring a bucket to a market and dump a ton of beans and rice and fruit into it
