@hsza@social.tudbut.de it knows what torrenting is and how it works, it's not stupid ​:neocat_sob:​ it just never needed to use it ever for anything. this is because it has the privilege of 1) it barely uses any proprietary software, 2) it just itself got music and movies with yt-dlp, and 3) if it does need something proprietary it can probably afford it, especially if it's a one-time payment yes it knows it needs to change
