The Steam Deck was one of my best buys ever. Price was right en performance was good for the screen resolution (I only play handheld).
Without sale records, why do you think the steam machine is a flop already? All prices are going through the roof.

@nxadm@infosec.exchange it is too pricey for what it is, but of course the real situation will turn out after the first round of sales. The initial sales will be good and maybe alteady sold out so that will be misleading. As for the deck, the only handheld with inferior hw feasible for me is the Nintendo stuff, but they have the advantage of having awesome games and also the first party stuff is heavily optimized to balance the lack of real power. Although if I am at home, I play it on the larger screen.
