@nxadm@infosec.exchange it is too pricey for what it is, but of course the real situation will turn out after the first round of sales. The initial sales will be good and maybe alteady sold out so that will be misleading.
As for the deck, the only handheld with inferior hw feasible for me is the Nintendo stuff, but they have the advantage of having awesome games and also the first party stuff is heavily optimized to balance the lack of real power. Although if I am at home, I play it on the larger screen.

@burak@gursoy.social I have both (SD en S2) and I love the little devices. In my situation is handheld the only realistic way to play at all. But if a game is available on Steam and on Nintendo I always pick the one for the Steam Deck: most of the time way cheaper (some crazy cheap if you wait a little) and certainly not worst performance.
