Traveling always brings interesting comparisons. Like, America: not great on the vending machine front, utterly smoked by Japan... But a long sight better than the Netherlands But! We went on a seal watching tour, and afterwards hopped off the boat ourselves instead of standing in line for the gangplank. Skipper didn't care at all. No silly "protect human from themself/us from lawsuits" mentality
