@catraxx@tech.lgbt @elephantintheroom66@mastodon.social We did look into it and quickly determined that it's a very local left wing party which split from the socialist Left Party. It's a municipal party in the 7th largest city right now. They're combining Marxism with anti-immigration nationalism. It's definitely not a far right party. Their views on nearly all domestic policy are leftist. Their foreign policy matches the European far left more than the European far right, although those are similar in a lot of ways.

The Örebro party is now firmly a right wing ethno nationalist party, according to the researchers I’ve seen writing about them. Mussolini was also a socialist until he denounced them and founded the fascist movement. I hope you don’t think the Italian fascist movement were leftist? The donation was something like 80% of the party finances and allowed for them to go for a seat in the Swedish parliament.
