"An apple a day keeps the doctor away"...
If this were the apple in question, I'd never forget to eat my daily dose of fruit🍎👏
Yoshinaga Kameya's (亀屋良長) glossy 'ringo' (林檎) is filled with a caramalized apple-flavoured bean paste and topped with a cinnamon-sprinkled stalk.

In Japanese the equivalent idiom to "an apple a day" is "hara hachi-bunme ni isha irazu" (腹八分目に医者いらず), which can be translated as "eat until you're 80% full". Based on an old Confucian saying, it means you will stay healthy if you do things in moderation🍰👀 #Japan
