Anyone able to definitively speculate on what this thing is? It is 8mm diameter.
ChatGPT was reasonably sensible and probably accurate, but I’m still mystified that it should just materialise in my kitchen. I thought it did fairly well, and confirmed some of my own thoughts, or at least confirmed they were vaguely sensible.

It seems on the surface like a concentric cable or some type. But what would usually be plastic (the outer jacket) is metal. And quite thick metal in comparison to its overall size. So it can’t be a particularly flexible cable. And why do I have like a 2-3mm perfect slice of it?
