@fraggle@social.coop Torchwood 3: Children of Earth, but easy mistake to make. It was an homage of innumerable SciFi plots.

@fraggle@social.coop I think there might also be a memetic SCP built around the same idea

@fraggle@social.coop the funny thing is, now that I'm cognizant of those numbers, I'm finding them everywhere, even in decades-old media... it is definitely a case of what you put your attention on, you see more of...

@fraggle@social.coop There's a shocking amount of 6-7, as well as even 6767 in Doctor Who (and not just in the form of the middle of a count to ten). https://youtu.be/c-QpQQwxDuY?si=8qZgSEN4zloBoPs9&t=85

@fraggle@social.coop @burnoutqueen@todon.nl did Doctor Who specialize in the collapse of the civilization core of the West? Because that's what 67 is about. It doesn't actually mean anything. It's just what some TikToker gestured and dittoheads mimeticize. I have asked very hip young friends, who as a high school teacher I have access to, and they confirm it means nothing. At least 69 meant something!
