@oscarjiminy@aus.social ARE western officials concerned?? Because there has been persistent, ongoing & blatant disregard for, dismantling & underfunding of education & the sorts of things that foster an educated, curious, informed & innovated populace for a long time now. I can be super concerned about my brown lawn but if I don't water my grass, I'm asking for it.
