A few weeks ago we noticed yet-to-open #peonies (genus #Paeonia ) in the backyard. Guess what?
They're all over the neighborhood now. Turns out they're Spouse's favorite flower—a bit of luck for us that doubtless portends even bigger and better luck.

#Lilac bush (genus #Syringa ). This pic is from a few weeks back. It never fully bloomed, probably because of the mid-month cold snap. Other lilacs in the neighborhood bloomed earlier and really pumped out their fragrance. Looking forward to next year's display. Good morning partypeople. #bloomscrolling #SmallCityLivin
