Uncle is a 79-year-old, disabled diabetic with cognitive impairment. He is not going to suddenly stop being a diabetic. He is not going going to suddenly no longer need an automated glucose monitor to effectively control his glucose levels. There is no way he won't need it for the rest of his life. The fact that he has to keep asking his doctor and insurance company every six months to please let him keep being alive is fucking insane. A system's purpose is what it does. 8/8
