@davep@infosec.exchange @VickForcella@mastodon.derg.nz I mean it heavily depends on the budget and kwp of course, if you have the money there's a lot of options in the 1-5k range, though especially with higher capacity packs the savings really add up if you DIY, since you can get away with a mild inverter and 2800 will get you ~40kwh worth cells with european warranty already (excl bms, case if you want one, inverter, etc)

    @anthropy@mastodon.derg.nz @VickForcella@mastodon.derg.nz I guess he wants the AC to run, so I'd say 16kWh would be a good compromise for, say, August, when the days are shorter.
