Is it safe for a trans person to drive thru Utah? I may be driving my car back to Ohio from the bar area and am concerned about the hate asking the way

@Donatella@mas.to Most people won't notice or care. You're more likely to be caught in a speed trap than anything else. There are small towns along the freeway that dramatically and quickly drop their speed limit for tickets fund raising. It is pride, so you're more likely to see flags out if you want to find friendlier places.

@Donatella@mas.to Mostly safe. Obviously avoid attracting a whole lot of attention from cops and dudes in big trucks...SLC itself actually has a decent-sized and friendly queer/alt population. Small towns are, well, small towns, I don't know your exact route.
