Anyway I've been having a gander over at https://vpn.techlore.tech/, what's everyone's VPN recommendations
(last time I got ten people say mullvad and one say protonvpn)

@ifixcoinops@retro.social why VPN at all? I self-host one to reach stupid stuff on my home network when I’m away, and sometimes they’re nice if you need to proxy traffic to get around GeoIP blocks, but if most of my friends asked me which they should use, I’d say none, you don’t need one (and that’s accounting for my friends group being overly technical).
