Not a practical cookbook like the Thai one (or the Great Big Asian one by the author of our favorite Chinese cookbook) but a coffee-table book that happens to have recipes. Not really a book that invites one to learn from it. @halla@kde.social

It's Koreans trying to say "look, our cuisine is as refined and rarefied as that of Japan" while it has completely different qualities. The only recipe in the book that actually appeals to me (rice porridge with chestnut) is delightfully simple, but not *refined* simple, though the picture tries to make it so.
