In February last year, I put together a home lab server because I thought it was likely that new laptops would become unavailable in the US at some point. So, I find it deeply satisfying to see AI fans moan about how they can't possibly run local models while I'm sitting on a half terrabyte of RAM that's mostly just seeding torrents and streaming my movie collection to my TVs. Or literally anything but hosting a self-delusion factory
