Very pissed off to have just received an email from IMDB about my new account which AMAZON REGISTERED ME FOR WITHOUT MY PERMISSION

Amazon has owned IMDB for years. Why suddenly now merging accounts and automatically signing in Amazon customers? Fuck this. This is enshittification. There is a "Delete my account" option in IMDB but now I don't know if that will affect my Amazon account!
