#WritersCoffeeClub day 18: Does your writing ever get away from you? (plot bunnies…?)
I doubt this qualifies as "plot bunny" stuff, but... my current draft is perhaps slightly over one-third of the way done, and it's already up to nearly 170K words. I was aiming for 100K *total*. So, yeah, it's kind of gotten away from me.

#WritersCoffeeClub day 19: How can prose achieve lyricism without verse structure? The same way free verse poetry does? I mean, it's only barely poetry, IMO¹, but it does at least usually have a lyrical quality. And that's achieved by choosing words with attention to their rhythm, flow, sonority, and evocative connotations. 1. This doesn't mean I haven't written any! I have. But I also sympathize in an amused fashion with Don Marquis' stance... 1/2
