#WritersCoffeeClub May 13: Follow-up: if writing was not your "thing," what would your "thing" be?
Probably DJing; I used to do that. Alternatively, I could have become an actor, but opted not to because of how you have to dedicate your entire damn life to it; I wanted a career that could allow time for a social life.

#WritersCoffeeClub May 14: For characters, plots, ideas, settings, &c: how much is too much? If you're spending so much time on them that it's keeping you from writing the actual manuscript, it's too much. If it hasn't gotten to that point yet, then it's not too much.
