Movie night tonight was The Running Man, the remake starring Glen Powell. We thought it was pretty good. It was more serious than how I remember the original being, and at the same time the satire felt more biting even though the whole "TV networks control everything" message would work better as 'media companies' in a more general sense today. Or maybe that's just me since I don't want "live" TV at all anymore. OTOH the gap between haves and have-nots is way larger today so...
