Our ancestors also didn't live with the risk of being T-boned by a clapped out Altima at an intersection on the way to the wagecage. I mean sure, they'll take you to the ER whether you're insured or not, but if you're one of those poor bastards who works for a living while not having health insurance, one drunk driving nigger can turn you into a debt serf in an instant.

What is the percentage chance that is going to happen to a young man who would otherwise avoid tens of thousands in wasted earnings (annually) if he lived his life as though that wasn't a realistic contingency he needed to plan for?
