@thedoctor@polymaths.social keep asking our governing bodies to change that (there are EU alternatives and initiatives, many coming soon, some already in place).

@jt_rebelo@ciberlandia.pt Yeah, this is the only thing I can do for now, I suppose. I am aware of Wero but they don't support my bank (yet?). I'm not aware of credit card providers that are not US-based but I'll admit that I did not conduct a ton of research in this direction. Are there any alternatives worth mentioning? @joeress@mastodon.social
