FreeBSD 15.1 successfully installed on the Ugreen NAS and zpool created using spare disks sitting around from upgrading those in the Synology. Disks and network card all seem to work but not tested performance yet. Will play properly later, as long as it and I are not overheating. Only obvious thing not working is the status/drive LEDs on the front panel, which I guess needs a driver to attach and control them - they keep doing the just-powered-up animation. #FreeBSD

Install was straightforward - jumped in to the BIOS with Ctrl-F12 and disabled the hardware watchdog per assorted guidance online, and booted from the memstick image off a USB stick (also needs BIOS change for boot order) #FreeBSD
