Can you be a part of the humans that will make it through the next few decades? Probably not. That fucking sucks. I mean, mortality sucks in general, but it would be nice to grow old in a garden surrounded by your loved ones, rather than in a flood or wildfire or riot or whatever, eh? So what can you do? First you see the problem, then you have the emotional reaction ("run in circles, scream and shout") and then you put the kettle on and your thinking cap on, and get to it.
