I have been obsessed with this advert since it came out in 1987. It is fairly rare based on my internet searches and finding a good scan is impossible. This is my first go at recreating it with a cleaned up scan of the photo and then resetting the text. The graphic designer did some funky shit with the Apple Garamond typeface. They both stretched it vertically and then slammed the kerning very tightly. I have a version of Apple Garamond, but not all the possible weights and styles they might’ve had, so I’m tweaking it with Indesign. I assume they were using Aldus PageMaker because QuarkXPress didn't come out until later in ‘87.
