There is already a privacy-preserving and open source solution - Mastodon.
We don’t need an EU-based version of #Bluesky or #threads.
A big no from me.
Hopefully, this fails hard and “lessons learned”.

@t3rcermillenium@mastodon.social the best thing we could do is to keep following them on the #fediverse and show them with engagement numbers that this is the real place to be. Well, they shouldn't even be on #eurosky they have to have their own PDS eventually. And by the way Von Der Leyen, Lagarde and all the commissioners SHOULD have a fediverse account. @hpod16@eupolicy.social @andypiper@macaw.social @_elena@mastodon.social @EUCommission@ec.social-network.europa.eu
