<p>Dublin, Ireland Recently retired software dev: Linux, C++, C, Python, C# (and Rust in my spare time). Coding since the 80’s (started with 6502 as a hobby, started professionally with PDP-11). Most recently, was selling my soul, coding HFT strategies for a large prop trading house. I used #linux as my driver since the late 90’s (started with Caldera Linux, then moved to SuSE, as it was called at the time). In 2020, I caved and bought a #macbookpro (M1). Fell for the hype. Loved it. Proper command line, really great hardware. But for the last few years, yearning for Linux again. Will probably pull the trigger on a #tuxedo or #starlabs laptop later this year. #buyeuropean

Not my cat. I guess he’s just curious and climbed in through the open window. He has done this several times, usually just wanders around the house being nosy. It was a hot day out so I offered him a bowl of water. He meowed a few times and left. #CatsOfMastodon #Cat
