@josh@masto.byrd.ws My best friend in our mid-teens went to university while I went to sea, and we lost contact until our 60s when he found me online. He was a professor of economics and an arrogant man. I didn't stay in touch long. He's the only economist I've ever known, but if he's a good example then I'd say they're best avoided.
