@aadeacon@mastodon.social @jbjrkng@hachyderm.io If a politician gets hacked they'll just build an exemption into the law for 'public figures' in the name of 'security' due to the privacy threat their position generates. Basically one law for the poors and another for the rich / their agents.

  • @RantingCanuck@mstdn.ca @aadeacon@mastodon.social @jbjrkng@hachyderm.io No, if a Politician gets hacked he has been hacked. Making laws to protect a hack that is unavoidable is futile effort don't you think?

  • @RantingCanuck@mstdn.ca @aadeacon@mastodon.social @jbjrkng@hachyderm.io no, he just been hacked like many before him in the past even Trump at his 1st administration mind you. There is a public panel that does not account delusional things as 2 of you wrote. And this goes for all not only politicians or introduce me a 100% foolproof system.

@RantingCanuck@mstdn.ca @aadeacon@mastodon.social @jbjrkng@hachyderm.io Exactly this - the EU leaders exempted their own officials and VIPs from the proposed client - side scanning and key escrow for e2e.
