@btaroli @actuallyautistic @simid@neurodifferent.me I’m a bit older than you and when I was growing up I never heard of Autism. The autistic children were either known as “retarded” or “the bad kids”. They were relegated to “other” classrooms. This is an example of how we didn't understand the difficulties & differences in people. And, I’m glad we now know more & better.
