I remember reading that the 2nd year of transition was especially spicy, and I can now confirm the rumors are true. Progress is no longer rapid. Dysphoria is well in focus but far from resolved. The uncanny valley of appearance means constant misgendering. And finally equipped to begin confronting the grief. Much to be happy about! More at home than ever. But it _is_ rough. My word.
