Well great. Some arsehole went through my car overnight and stole a mobility device: my trekking poles.
I don't need them all the time, just when my cPTSD causes a neurogenic tremor and knee instability, but they're still a mobility device, and fuck you, arseholes.
There was basically nothing in the car worth anything, and I can see they really tried to find something worth money, so it's almost like they took those out of spite.
Like, "fuck you for only having some bandaids and glass cleaning wipes, I'm taking these".

The car was unlocked, which means people will automatically decide it's "my fault" rather than suggesting that people, perhaps, should not take things from other people's cars anyway. The car is unlocked because it's too difficult to manage my AuDHD son's safety AND lock the car reliably. So there's a reason I don't keep anything in there worth anything. It's just unfortunate that the poles had been used recently.
