There's probably an Internet Libertarian out there who has a blog that puts "In the Year 2889" on an online list of movies with important political themes.

Later that "night" the daughter hears the eerie soundtrack music and wanders into the woods so a radioactive mutant can kidnap her. John, true to his characterization this movie, tells Elvis to take a gun and shoot his daughter "if there is no only choice" and Elvis dutifully takes the gun and runs off. Then the creepy murder guy sneaks back and steals John's gun, announcing that he's taking over the creepy plantation house. #monsterdon #InTheYear2889
