I find it curious how we label eras of entertainment, though in fairness I think only the new mediums really suffer in that regard. "classic" movies and "retro" games are hardly real terms as opposed to victorian literature and neoclassical architecture.
that said it does feel strange to consider that, in the grand history of literature, The Lord of The Rings is part of "postmodern literature". heck, Conan the Barbarian and HP Lovecraft are in the modern era.

@bleedingphoenix@wolfgirl.bar I think the main problem, especially with regards to video games, is that technology is changing to fast. Life is fundamentally different from one generation to the next and it messes up your perception of history.
