@Cassandra@ottawa.place the hijab is not a gendered article of clothing, and as long as the goal is not to trick someone into thinking you’re someone you aren’t anyone can wear it. All the volunteers should participate in the action.

@Cassandra@ottawa.place @the5thColumnist@ottawa.place I mean… I could wear the religious symbols from my ancestors (Protestant cross, plus Baltic pagan articles of clothing) and speak solely in English (exception for swearing… that would be in French) I really want a nationalist (as in non-separatist) political party to take a stand against this during the election. Can’t promise I will vote for them, but at least I’ll notice.
