You can get around some of that by using an app like Halide with Process Zero so you can get RAW files with minimal "computational photography"
(though of course then you'll see the range of good images you can achieve optically is far smaller…but generally it's an improvement)

@jaredwhite@indieweb.social sad part is I have Halide, I'm just so used to swiping down and hitting apples camera button. Really need to re-train myself to use it
