@quinn@social.circl.lu I rented a house in an HOA once, and they literally required all mailboxes to be black. And not be just any black. It was literally specified by a Pantone color and must have a flat finish.
Never again, ESPECIALLY if I own it.

@lerxst@az.social @quinn@social.circl.lu one of my friends moved to an HOA subdivision where all the mailboxes are identical. Not the same color, literally identical.

@lerxst@az.social @quinn@social.circl.lu A housing project near me in North Carolina had a stack of covenants that’s were over an inch (2.54cm) thick. Don’t understand how people can live in a place like that
