@fedora@fosstodon.org FWIW...I had great difficulty in fixing this. The Linux/Fedora firmware updating mechanism kept failing. Eventually I resorted to the "Restore Factory Keys" function in the BIOS (Lenovo desktop machine). After that the Linux update worked.

@fedora@fosstodon.org it seems wrong to me, that the pesign tool doesn't print certificate serial or fingerprint. Only common name display doesn't seem enough for checking certificates. But thank you for new commands to try.
