-a soup-kitchen patron validated what I believe is the role I fill there. It's not just to give people food and drink. People need to feel seen.
-enjoyed seeing my fellow volunteers... and eating the dessert I got to take home! (Soup-kitchen cook is very good at what he does.)
-glad I'm not particularly sensitive to heat because man it is hot!
