The only solace i can offer is trying to get my country to offer a path to safety. I hope you get through ok. If you felt like sharing a location with me privately, I might be able to find someone who could maybe fundraise for you to be able to get safer? It's ok if you don't want that, too, ok? @oldladyplays@wargamers.social thank you for your kindness. Figuring out I was transgender in my mid-thirties with a therapist who specializes in that sort of thing literally saved my life. But, wow, I really, really wish I wasn't transgender. I don't really have the mental fortitude to navigate this kind of institutional hatred and systemic oppression. I spent my life building masks and hiding behind them in order to be accepted. Those masks are being ripped away.
