@bweller@mstdn.social It's particularly infuriating when it's a competent & well-researched content producer NetSplaining my mind to me. It's one thing to have a choppy & shouty tiktok-esque generico yelling my glands off over something planet-detonatingly exciting & urgent. I swipe away as soon as they start on that nonsense. I find it harder when I'm chilling with a playlist from someone I trust to be rational, factual & balanced, only for their next contribution to adopt that same patronising tone.
