@monkeyninja@10base2.dev unfortunately this does not work, as has been said bye others. You'll get a worse TV for more money because the market is structured around Smart TVs and there's a lot of economies of scale. Just don't connect it, and refuse the EULAs, the effect is the same.

@Aissen@social.treehouse.systems I can't say I agree with you. I've been very happy with the results from buying a signage display and every person I know who has done so has likewise been happy with the results.
