What seems to be available is the opportunity to leverage your viewing experience for the sole benefit of the manufacturer. If an opportunity is available to access the net in any fashion, will your Smart TV start delivering data to the mfg. This is the dilemma of buying any IoT device. Why does your toothbrush need an internet address?
